THE FSSC 22000 CERTIFICATION

The FSSC 22000 certification is a risk management tool. It guarantees food safety and the provision of safe products to consumers. It integrates the principles of the HACCP approach in order to meet the requirements of EU hygiene regulations. As a certified organism, CACAOTEC (production site of the cocoa masses for Chocolaterie de l’Opéra) is committed to:
- Identify, evaluate and control the dangers related to food safety.
- Develop a food safety management system to guarantee healthy, safe cocoa masses that comply with applicable regulations.
- Produce all the means to monitor and measure the performance of its food safety management system.
